MINI FRIED IDLI

 

 

NOTE

 

First make Plain Mini Idlis and then use the following ingredients and method to make fried Idlis.

 

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS

 

Thin Sevian (small packet)

1

Maida

2 tsp

Red color

A pinch/drop

Salt

To taste

Oil for deep frying

 

 

METHOD

 

Make a liquid paste of maida and add red color to it. Crush Sevian and keep it in a plate. Dip idlis in the paste. Heat oil in a karahi. Roll/cover the idlis in sevian and fry them for 2 minutes. Serve hot with tea/coffee.

 

Makes: 250-300 Mini Idlis (of size of Re. 1 coin)
