TALUMIN SOUP

 

INGREDIENTS

Vegetable Stock

4 cups

Soya sauce

1 tsp.

Carrot (half boiled and cut into thin strips)

1/2

Salt

1 tsp.

Cabbage Leaves (sliced)

3-4

Sugar

1/2 tsp.

Noodles (boiled)

3/4 cup

Black pepper

1/2 tsp.

Corn flour (mixed in 1/4 cup of water)

2 tbsp.

Ajinomoto

1/2 tsp.

INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING VEGETABLE STOCK

Onion and Carrot

1 each

Cabbage (optional)

1/2 cup

Water

7 cups

Ginger (chopped)

1/2 tsp.

Potato

1

Garlic (chopped)

1/2 tsp.

French beans

4-5

Salt

1/2 tsp.

METHOD FOR MAKING VEGETABLE STOCK

Mix every thing in a pressure cooker, cover it with lid and boil for 15 minutes. If you want to make a clear soup, don't mash it. Turn off the gas. strain through a strainer. Use the liquid for making soup.

METHOD FOR MAKING SOUP

Mix vegetable stock, black pepper, sugar, soya-sauce and ajinomoto. Boil it. Mix corn flour paste while continuously stirring it. Add the vegetables. Simmer it for 2-3 minutes. Put boiled noodles. Switch off the gas. Always serve hot.

 

Serves: 3-4 adults
