PEANUT AND CHANA-DAL TIKKI

Hi, my name is Viji Mahadevan. I live in Singapore and am fond of trying out new recipes.This is a snack item which is a very easy one and needs only a few ingredients. Please feedback your opinion about this to mahaviji@yahoo.com
 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

peanuts-1/2 cup.
channa dal-1/2 cup.
potatoes-boiled-2-3.
onions,green chillies-finely chopped.
lime juice-1 tspn.
bread crumbs-1 cup.
atta-1 tspn.
chopped coriander leaves,salt,oil.

METHOD

Grind the roasted peanuts and channadal to a coarse mixture.
To this grounded mixture, add onions, green chillies, atta, lime juice, finely cut coriander, bread crumbs and salt. Grate the boiled potatoes and mix it thoroughly.
Using this mixture roll  them in to balls, flatten a little bit and shallow fry in a pan.
Serve it with ketchup or chutney.

Serves: 2-3 people.
