CABBAGE SALAD

 

INGREDIENTS

Mustard seeds (small)

1 tsp.

Salt

To taste

Oil

1 tsp.

Black pepper

tsp.

Cabbage (small) and Lemon

1 each

Coriander leaves (finely chopped)

For flavour

Chana dal (roasted)

2 tsp.

Green chilly

Peanut (coarsely ground)

2 tsp.

Ginger

METHOD

Finely chop the cabbage. Keep it in a serving tray. Heat oil in a kadahi. Put mustard seeds. Fry the peanuts and chana dal for a minute. Put the tadka upon the cabbage. Put green chilly, ginger and coriander. Mix properly and serve.

Serves: 3-4 adults.
