KHARI BISCUITS OR SALTED BISCUITS

 

INGREDIENTS

Maida

100 gm

Butter

50 gm

Castor Sugar

20 gm

Curd

40-50 gm

Baking powder

1/2 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Melted Butter and Ajwain

for topping

METHOD

Sieve maida and baking powder together. Add butter and sugar till it gets soft and smooth. Add all the ingredients and make a soft dough with the help of curd. Keep the dough in the refrigerator for one hour. Roll the dough. Cut the biscuits with the help of a cutter. Brush it with melted butter and sprinkle ajwain on it. Bake in a moderate oven at 180C for 35 minutes.

Makes: 8-10 biscuits
