KAJU BADAM BISCUITS
INGREDIENTS

Butter |

Castor sugar |

Vanilla essence |

Kaju and badam (finely chopped) |

METHOD
Put the flour in a mixing bowl. Rub in butter with the help of fingertips till it becomes like breadcrumbs. Lift the mixture to incorporate air. Add half of the sugar, knead firmly and work in the rest of the sugar. Put the dough onto a board, which has been lightly dusted with flour. Mix chopped kaju and badam and make a slab. Keep it in the fridge for 1 hour. Cut the biscuits with the help of a knife or a cutter. Arrange them over a well-greased tray and bake in a moderate oven at 180C for 30-35 minutes. Cool the biscuits and store in an airtight container.
