CHOCOLATE FANCIES

 

INGREDIENTS

Maida

300 gm

Butter

175 gm

Castor Sugar                             

100 gm

Cocoa Powder                           

2 tsp.

Drinking chocolate Powder             

1 tbsp.

Salt

a pinch

Vanilla essence

1 tsp.

METHOD

Beat butter and sugar till it gets soft and smooth. Sieve maida and salt together. Mix it with the beaten butter in parts and make dough. Now divide it into two parts. To the first part, add cocoa powder and drinking chocolate. To the second part, add vanilla essence and mix well. Further divide each part into two. Now rolls each part between your palms. Stack all the four parts alternately applying light pressure of hand. Cut it into slices of 1 cm. thickness and arrange in a well -greased tray. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 35-40 minutes.

Makes: 25-30 biscuits
